Rules And Values We Stick To

Code of Conduct;

Gloogal Market code of conduct sets out the rules and values which all our employees must conform to. The code is reflective of our values and expectations, and outlines our ethical and environmental policies, to which everyone who works at Agro Group is required to adhere.

Our code of conduct details our stance on HS&E, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, human rights, corporate responsibilities and business and humanitarian ethics.

Anti-bribery & Corruption;

It is well documented that some of the world’s locations are perceived as presenting a high business risk when it comes to levels of bribery and corruption.

Gloogal Market code of conduct aims to prevent this illegal and immoral activity in its workforce by insisting that all employees carry out anti-bribery and corruption risk assessments on parties with whom we do business, as well as laying down a list of rules and regulations with which all parties are required to conform.

Should suspicions arise that our bribery and corruption policies are being abused or ignored, a prompt and full investigation into the offending parties will be launched.

Our Guiding Principles;

All employees are made aware of our key guiding principles which include our support of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, our commitment to Quality Agricultural Commodities, our responsibility towards the environment and our compliance and ethics policy.

Equal Opportunities Policy;

Gloogal Market is committed to providing a working environment in which employees are able to realise their full potential and contribute to business success irrespective of his or her gender, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or racial origin, marital status, sexual orientation, religion or disability, ensuring that the provisions of equality are strictly adhered to. This is a key employment value to which all employees are expected to give their support.

In order to create conditions in which this goal can be realized, Gloogal Market Group is committed to identifying and eliminating discriminatory practices, procedures, and attitudes throughout the organisation. Agro Group expects employees to support this commitment and to assist in its realization in all possible ways.

Specifically, Gloogal Market aims to ensure that no employee or job applicant is discriminated against, either directly or indirectly, on the grounds of gender, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or racial origins, marital status, religion or disability.

Equal opportunities practice is developing constantly as social attitudes and legislation change. Gloogal Market will keep its policies under review and will implement changes where these could improve equality of opportunity. This commitment applies to all Gloogal Market’s employment policies and procedures, not just those specifically connected with equal opportunity.
